During Prime Minister’s Questions, Keir Starmer called for Boris Johnson to resign from his post over partygate accusations, saying that ‘the police have now concluded that there was widespread criminality’.

Starmer cited the ministerial code, which dictates that ‘ministers who knowingly mislead the house should resign’.

Johnson deflected this line of questioning, calling Starmer a ‘human weathervane’ and focused instead on government policies.
